The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reassign abstracts to another category where appropriate.
Author and Submitter Roles
Each abstract may include a maximum of one first author and five co-authors. Each individual may be listed on a maximum of two submissions across all submission formats.
The submitter may be any author or authorised representative and will receive all correspondence; a valid email address is therefore required.
Abstracts submitted should represent original work. Previously presented material may be considered if clearly disclosed at the time of submission. Abstracts that have been formally published in peer-reviewed journals prior to submission are generally not eligible for consideration.
The first author of each accepted submission must register for the Congress by the stipulated registration deadline. Failure to do so may result in withdrawal of the submission from the Congress.
Requests for withdrawal of submissions must be submitted in writing to the Congress Secretariat prior to the final submission deadline. Failure to provide prior notice of withdrawal may affect consideration of future submissions.
By submitting, accepted authors consent to the display, publication, and inclusion of their work in Congress materials, publications, digital platforms, the Congress website, mobile application, and e-booklet, including publication prior to the meeting where applicable.
